I read the Salem Witch Trails and it is interesting . Talk about in 1692 many women were hanged and killed because the people of the town of Salem in Massachusets blamed them for been witches.

So the person that the town thought that had a devil asociation was burned to death. the witchcraft was a strong crime that was punishable to death.

Most people of Massachusets were puritans colonist who had left England seeking religious tolerance
