More information about nanotechnology

Nanotechnology refers broadly to a field of applied science and technology whose unifying theme is the control of matter on the atomic and molecular scale, normally 1 to 100 nanometers, and the fabrication of devices within that size range. It is a highly multidisciplinary field, drawing from fields such as applied physics, materials science, interface and colloid science, device physics, supramolecular chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering. Much speculation exists as to what may result from these lines of research. Nanotechnology can be seen as an extension of existing sciences into the nanoscale, or as a recasting of existing sciences using a newer, more modern term. Two main approaches are used in nanotechnology. In the "bottom-up" approach, materials and devices are built from molecular components which assemble themselves chemically by principles of molecular recognition. In the "top-down" approach, nano-objects are constructed from larger entities without atomic-level control. The impetus for nanotechnology comes from a renewed interest in Interface and Colloid Science, coupled with a new generation of analytical tools such as the atomic force microscope (AFM), and the scanning tunneling microscope (STM). Combined with refined processes such as electron beam lithography and molecular beam epitaxy, these instruments allow the deliberate manipulation of nanostructures, and led to the observation of novel phenomena.Examples of nanotechnology in modern use are the manufacture of polymers based on molecular structure, and the design of computer chip layouts based on surface science. Despite the great promise of numerous nanotechnologies such as quantum dots and nanotubes, real commercial applications have mainly used the advantages of colloidal nanoparticles in bulk form, such as suntan lotion, cosmetics, protective coatings, drug delivery, and stain resistant clothing.CommentaryIn conclussion we can say that nanotechnology is the science that study the technology at molecular and atomical level. And has many aplications as medicine, engineering, physics, robotic and many others topics.

Introduction to our investigation

Hello this is the introduction to our investigation. We choose this topic because we think that nanotecnology is a very interesting theme and is very very expansive and it could be the answer to many problems of the world.

halloween resume.

The principal diference between the halloween, and the death people day, are several traditions, because in Halloween you can see a mercadotecnical influence with the idea to spend candies, masks, candles, fancy dress, etc, and this is not a espiritual celebration in where they remember to the death people, and give something to them.
Instead in México and in some latin american countries, we give the traditional fruit, candies, and other things, in a especial place and in some little tows, the people burned candles, and visit the cementeries.
history of Halloween? The origin of Halloween dates back at least 3,000 years to the Celtic celebration of Samhain . The festival was held starting at sundown on October 31st and lasted until sundown on November 1st.

How is Halloween celebrated in your country? In Mexico, exist a traditional party, that includes a typic"ofrenda" this is a gift for the death people with cadies, candles, fruit, etc.

Do you believe in ghosts? No, I don´t, because i thing is a mith.

What makes you afraid of ghosts?Nothing, because i never sow anything else.

What are some of the symbols of Halloween? Pumpkin, witches, goshts, houses with witches and gosths.

What kind of costume are you going to wear to the Halloween party? A witch wear.

Is your pumpkin still out ? No, no yet.

Are you still eating Halloween candy ?Yes, I do.

Comments

Alan Barron: He did a work of the topic about space satellite ,the topic was about an expedition with a satellital,in which the astronauts were trying to found life.
Fernando Mora chose a topic of handwritting of genius, it is an interesting topic.
Diego Hurtado: He read about oceans, the oceans are the base of Earth´s life, the article talks about animals and plants that live on the ocean.
Fernando Mora: He did a questionary about of Genius.
Kevin: He made a Galapagos game,it is wonderful.
I read the Salem Witch Trails and it is interesting . Talk about in 1692 many women were hanged and killed because the people of the town of Salem in Massachusets blamed them for been witches.

So the person that the town thought that had a devil asociation was burned to death. the witchcraft was a strong crime that was punishable to death.

Most people of Massachusets were puritans colonist who had left England seeking religious tolerance

5. Which two things explain the popularity of the book? That the author doesn´t believ in fantasy and the change of style.

6. Why JK Rowling books make wonderful films?Because JK Rowling is also often praised for being a very cinematic writer which is why her books make wonderful films.

7. Why is JKR more respected?Because so many millions of young people to read fiction. She’s made them interested in it; she’s ‘turned them on to’ reading. And so now, reading is ‘cooler’ – it’s much more fashionable than it was.
